With PSPR's reporting background, we don't really do well with "no." Although respectful and always looking towards future opportunities, we are really good at calling and emailing and calling and Tweeting and Facebooking and calling until we are successful. My wife finds that annoying. But with her, I'm just trying to find out what is for supper. However, she agrees it's a great attribute for someone pitching your product.

We can teach you to talk in 9 seconds soundbites. That's the perfect length to answer the reporter's question and to slide in something self-serving. That's easy. What is harder, is teaching you to NOT say anything while in front of the media's microphone. I held that mic for 15 years and can teach you the tricks, tips and fibs which would get me the best sound out of my interviewees.
